To give the reader a more vivid picture of the place at the moment you are describing, you can refer to the senses ( sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch): Visitors can watch the moonrise over the mountains, or hear the sound of church bells ringing, enjoy a fresly-ground cup of coffee,remember the aromas of exotic herbs and spices, or relax in the soothing warm waters of the river.
This is a place that I like a lot, because of weather, beaches, good environment, and ladscapes.

For example, you can go at mall, but it is not like santiago, that mall is better because you can look the sea and the sand from where you are. You also can go to "El faro" that is a beautiful turistic place. "La recoba" is another place that you can visit, this is a place where you can buy handmade objects from the zone.
Near of La serena is also Coquimbo, that is a nice place as well, people is actualñly friendly and if you want you can go to restaurants to eat fried fish.
if you want to spend a relaxed time you can go to Elqui valley, it is a few far from la serena but still in the same region. Here you will find hills, vegetation, rabbits and foxes.
Near of Elqui valley is Gabriela Mistral's house, where she lived when she was a kid.
Coming back with La serena, at night you can go downtown and you can have a great night. Where a lot of people is hanging out there.
Well, this a beautiful place that you should visit because it is a place where you won't waste your time, it¡s a amazing place.
One of the best places in the world is Jamaica, where Bob Marley and Usain Bolt were born. It is the cradle of reggae music.

Jamaica was discovered by Cristobal Colon in his second travel to America.
The weather is tropical, used to be warm and moist, but in the mountain place is fresher. In the morning you can feel the warm wind blowing through your face, even the water in the sea is warm, for this reason you can spent the whole day on the beach, feeling the white sand in your foot, the warm water and the musicians who are playing reggae.
The typical food is delicious, so you must be careful if you can not get some weight.
The bad point is the hurricanes, which are frequently in this part of the world, but the mountains act like a kind of shield protecting the island.
If you want to spend a nice holyday or if you want to visit an exotic place I suggest this one, because you can feel the tropical environment, and share a different culture and a new sight from the Jamaican culture.
One of the best places of this country definitely is Coquimbo; it’s located in the IV region of Chile where some beaches border each other.
ResponderEliminarI chose this place because last summer I was on vacations there, where I really enjoyed the weather and environment which is pleasant; there also are a lot of people who is nice and make you feel great to be in this city.
This city has a fishing port and some restaurants in which the main course usually is fish with rice or potatoes purée or whatever you want.
Definitely the best thing about Coquimbo is their beaches where the sand is white and where you can stay resting for hours and hours as a relaxing therapy.
In Coquimbo, the night life is nice because they do some activities in the main square in which most of the people participate. There also are some churches including the Cross of the Third Millenium.
If you want to go to another beach or city you can take a bus to La Serena which is very cheaper and allows you to arrive in five minutes or less.
In conclusion I can say that it’s a wonderful place to visit where you can get great vacations in family or with some friends.
I was born in a commune that is located in the south zone of Santiago City, called Puente Alto.
ResponderEliminarThis is one the most biggest commune. Therefore, there are many inhabitants. Moreover, Puente Alto is very beautiful,
wonderful and the most important for me is that in this place we can see the spectacular cordillera de los Andes, really
we are very privileged. For this reason I chose my commune Puente Alto.
My commune before had not many places of entertainment but now there are Restaurants, Center-Shopping, Bars, Cinema,
and a square with play ground for children. The most antique building is an industrial factory called "Papelera",
and the most recent building in Puente Alto and also important is the "underground" and a moddern Shopping center,
also my commune has some famous places such as: square "La Paz"; a center shopping "Mall Tobalaba"; and the "Casa de
Piedra"; a place where the people buy handicrafts.
Finally, Puente Alto, my commune is the most beautiful and where I live is very quiet, though some people said
the contrary. In this commune live people who are very friendly and respectful, they take care a lot the country and
his nature that is very important.
I choose this place because since I've memory all my family have passed their holidays in the same place: "Las Cruces". This place is a beach located between two other beaches: "El Tabo" and "Cartagena".
ResponderEliminarLong time ago my grandparents told me a storie about that place, that before it was really isolated with poor and few houses. They went there for thirty years and now they are too tired for going on vacations there, so they preferred staying at home. In the other way around my mother finished my grandparent's storie. She told me that when she was a child, everybody liked to going there by bus and camping in the beaches, but not just one or two week, they went there for months.
This place, nowadays is crowded, because it has become famous between the tourists around the time. I've been there several times, more than 30, because sometimes we go there as a family, more than once in the year. Sometimes it turned boring but when I go with a lot of people, like cousins or friends, we could have a good time.
This place have a kind of center of the city, called "Las Cadenas", where you could eat, because has around 3 different restaurants. also is the beach near there, where you could rest lying in the sand. Even it is a crowded place, is very clean, but I think this is because the people who goes there is like my family, they have been there many times and during years.
I prefer to going there to spent my holidays, because I feel like in home, but with beach a near. I know that place like the palm of my hand.
I was born in "Viña del Mar", a city in the fifth region of chile, next to the city of valparaiso where is one of the principal port of the country, in that place arrives all kind of ships to chile, even huge crusies.
ResponderEliminarViña del Mar is an exciting place,because is full of places for entertainment like the "Enjoy Casino" which is fantastic and people who go there can bet in a lot of games but must wear fancy clothes; the mall "Marina Arauco" where you can find all types of stores and restaurants; other very interesting place to visit is the street " Av. peru" in which you can walk watching the waves of the beach and ride bikes and the best thing of this city is the big festival of the song that is recognized in a lot of other countries of the world.
All in all Viña del Mar is my favourite place because is the place where i born and is the city that you can never feel bored.

ResponderEliminarthe first time that I visited Neruda`s house at Isla Negra, I was amazed with the beauty of the place, so I thought that I had to come back that mystic place; but this time I had to take my mother with me.
When we arrived there, my mother was as amazed as me the first time. All the place remains us Neruda; at one side of the highway there are many different shops where handicraft which take us to the poet`s life are sold. When you are walking to his house, you can enjoy the nature which is for everywhere, if you do not speak the only noise that you can hear is the birds sings or the sound of the waves, which take you through a poetic way to Neruda`s house. Once time there, you can see the entire place from the little hill where the house is, since this is in the middle of the island. This place is from where you can take many photographs because you enjoy watching at the huge sea and the rocks on the shore of this, surrounded of a green landscape, if you close your eyes, you can feel the peace in your body.
It is a place specially recommended to forget the stress which we live in our city, moreover you learn about the interesting life of the poet who is one of the most important Chilean poets and the creativity and the ingenuity to decorate his house. At the end of the tour around his house you can also know where is his deathbed which is in the garden of his own house with a splendid sea view.
I was born in Buenos Aires which is the capital city of Argentina. It’s near the coast and the people who live there they’re called “porteños”.
ResponderEliminarBuenos Aires is a very noisy and crowded city, there’s a sculpture called “el obelisco” which is in the centre of the city. The avenue is called “avenida 9 de Julio” which is the widest avenue in the world.
There is a place in which you can find only cinemas and theatres, is a very old street full of nostalgic, melancholy and mysticism. In the other hand you can find people who are dancing tango in the street and sometimes you can dance with them or with another person in the same place. It’s very funny, because the Argentinean are bold, so they are not afraid to dance in front of the multitude and feel miserable, but other people (like Chilean) don’t like because they are afraid of laugh.
There is a particular place that you can always see a group of woman, who are called “las madres de mayo” and they are complaining and making noise with spoon hitting a pot of metal.
In summary, Buenos Aires is fun, is a cosmopolitan city, very open mind with a lot of entertainment and places to visit and take pictures and have a wonderful vacation in that place. I carry this city in my heart, I always think to come back again and enjoy everything there.
Describing a place
ResponderEliminarOne of the most fabulous Holiday I’ve had ever was in Pichilemu and I went with my family by bus .
When we arrived , we realized that the house was high on the hill , so We had to climb to arrive there , and we were so tired , but the landscape was amazing , and it didn’t care , the air was fresh and clean , the forest gave us a sweetie air , and wide adventurous , I have to go the forest If I have holidays , it is a law !
At the beach , it was very huge , and the sea was clean an deep , the only bad point was the weather which was so cold and never sunny ! , in case was sun , it didn’t warm us!
We made friend from everywhere , and night was really fantastic , we could see the sky over us , like it could crush us !
“Punta de lobos” where we went one day , was an amazing place over a giant rock and where the surfist went to surf over the waves which was the widest waves in the country.
I recommend this beautiful place which Have a lot of touristic side and the landscape is the most beautiful ever!

ResponderEliminarWhen I was 15 my parent decided they wanted to go on a trip to the south area of the country, for that reason they picked Pucón as their destination, of course my sister and I was were suposed to go with them, and even though we didn't like the idea much, we tried to keep in mind that was going to be a new place and we started to feel longing about it. It was a six hours journey, through the trip we met other places that were really beautiful indeed. But we, my sister and I, were hoping to get as soon as posible to Pucón.
When we finally arrived we couldn't wait to go around the place and see the whole place. you could feel the wetness in the air, it was rather cold but definetly not freezing, the sky was clear and people seemed pretty quiet and peaceful. The whole area was surrounded with old buildings, it was rare to find a modern building there, everything was quite rural.
At night you could see the huge starry sky, and even better, nights there weren't cold at night, at least in summer. Beside there were plenty places to go, at day you could go to the beach, where the water was template and clear, and at night, there were many craft fairs full with cool stuff for buying. The air was always fresh and it made you feel so relax, I wish I could go back there sometime.
Santiago, Chile, my favourite place and my native town; is a perfect city to live, where it has the most beautiful places to visit. It is a cosmopolitan, crowded, noisy, and amazing place which has a lot of kind of restaurants, bars, buildings, libraries, cinemas, deluxe hotels, churches, museums, etc where, you can spend on summer or on winter season, a wonderful time.
ResponderEliminarYou can do something very fantastic; around six o’ clock in the summer, just walking through the principal avenue “Alameda” with sunglasses, music if you want and with all that, you can feel the warm wind in your face, with some noise for the traffic, where, the smell is in the air, because someone just mow the grass that, cannot be change for anything, just cannot be. Other thing that you can do, take a breath and walk through ‘Paseo Ahumada’, where you can find a crowed place and intense environment, which, for me is not too bad, is life, is movement, is when you want to feel your own body alive, just prove it.
With all that, of course, I’m thinking, that, I will never leave this city, because, I love it; I’m feeling like in this place that I can do everything, so, come and visit it; the people are nice, the environment perfect and the landscape more perfect!.

ResponderEliminarSometimes when I’m walking in any kind of place, I feel a similar smell of the place where I always go with my family.
The people, who live there, are quite peaceful that make me feel very comfortable.
The sea where is near my house, it looks wonderful but sometimes it’s so cold that I can’t enjoy there, but when the sun shine, it is definitely the only one place where I would like to stay.
When I close my eyes I can feel the wind in my body which make feel incredible, I can hear the sound of the sea in any place where I am.
There are a lot of places which I can visit, some of them are most beautiful than others but anyway when I want to take a rest the countryside is the best because the sound of the nature it cannot be compared with other sounds.
Definitely if you want a holiday away from all the noise of the city and their complications, you should come here, because people are very friendly, it is a very quiet place where you can feel very comfortable with who you want be.

My trip to the South of Chile
ResponderEliminarIn 2006, my family and I visited part of the south of Chile in a special tour. It was the first time that we were there.
We first arrived to Puerto Montt, to a small hotel which we stayed in. From there we went to visit all the other nearest towns, namely Frutillar, Puerto Varas, Ancud, Castro, and Chiloé. Although all those places were very beautiful and interesting to know, I am going to focus in Chiloé.
I remember when we arrived in Chiloe. It was a very sunny day. For arriving there, the bus that took us, had to board a berry which crossed the Canal del Chacao. It was a newfangled, interesting and long trip. It took us about two hours to get there. When we arrived in at last, the first thing that we saw was a lot of black neck swans floating in the sea.
The landscape that we saw was amazing; behind us there was a big green hill and in front of us, the majestic ocean. A group of fishermen who were pulling a boat to the beach. At that time we were really hungry. Luckily, there was a restaurant located just at the top of a small hill. The view from there, was wonderful and the food was delicious.
It was marvelous to enjoy a sky and a sea so blue and clouds so white.
This has been a little description of one of the most beautiful places that I have known.

One of my favorite places is my bedroom, it maybe isn’t a great place but it is where I can do all things in complete silence. In this place I can sleep and study peacefully, because my little brother, who is three years old, makes a lot of noise!!
ResponderEliminarMy bedroom was built around 30 years ago, when my mother was child. She used it meanwhile she was in the school, before the room was used by other members of my family, until 2 years ago when I arrive at home from other city.
In the first time, the bedroom was painted a yellow colour, but in this moment the colour is rose, although in the future I would like paint it a green colour.
In one of the wall there ir a painting of a little circle of different coluors like rose, yellow, green, brown and violet. MY mother told me . “this painting is horrible”, but I like it.
In front of my bed there is a great light brown wardrobe which isall my clothing and shoes. In the part of the left I put all my books and study materials.
To the right of the wardrobe is my writing-desk where is my computer and where I spent my time!
my bed is very small but it is confortable. generaly it has a bedspread a with beautiful design.
to the right of the bed i have a mirror, becouse i am very pretentious.
my bedroom maybe is a place where you can feel sure, but i don't share it with no one, I am sorry.
Describing a place.
ResponderEliminarThe best memories I have are of a place in south of Chile, in the eighth region near the Andes Mountain range, the specific place called Recinto, and is just nature.
In Recinto there is a river of icy water that comes from the mountains, surrounded by hills and vegetation, animals and a big beautiful sky which seems endless. Everything smells of grass and wood, as at 13.00 the sun is strong and is the perfect time to swim in the river. At the night you can hear the insects and early in the morning you can hear birds and the sound of the watercourse, and if you are the lucky one a pig can come to bother you at 5 or 6 am.
Well, this place seems to me as the perfet place to go on holidays, is relaxing and gorgeous, but you have to be careful about the sun, and also if you do not know how to swim saty close to the riverside. Is an excelent time for been with friends or family sharing a barbecue.
Santa Barbara is a small town in the south of Chile,which is the nearest town to Los Angeles. this town is a place full of wonderful landscapes, lush and tall trees, and a beautiful river that is used as a excursion placein summer and many of indigenous culture of our country.

great struggles took place here, with Pewenche, who lived in these lands for centuries and fought to the death facing the Spanish invaders with stones and spears.
The town's name is due to a young woman named Barbara, recalls the martyrdom of an innocent young woman who decided to die before giving up the love of Christ, even endured the torture, which his father gave her to stop being Christian.
The village has several myths, about witches, imaginary beasts, etc. making it very interesting for anyone who is superstitious or tha simply like to hear myths and legends.
My grandmother's house in Santa Barbara, is 10 meters from the hill, which always made me happy because I could play and run around in their green fields all day, and also gave a wonderful view of the place.
I faithfully believe that someday I will return to live there because, undoubtedly, is the most magical and beautiful place I've ever met in my life.
I was born in Providencia, a nice area of Santiago, located in the East side of the city.
ResponderEliminarIt is a very lovely place with a lot of squares and public places. But I just born there. I lived the first years in the country side, Peñaflor and Malloco. Those places are really beautiful, a lot of trees, fresh air and birds singing. May be that's why I like so much the country and the forest. The people also, in Malloco mostly, is very kind and hard-working.
In 1989, with my family we moved to Maipú, near Peñaflor, and there is the place where, nowadays, I'm living and in which I grew up. Is a big commune, one the most populated in the country, with large avenues and many villages and a beautiful Catholic Temple in the centre of the commune, called Templo Votivo.
People here are very different from Peñaflor and Malloco. Here, peoples lives on the run, even if they don't have to hurry, also they are not as kind as Malloquinos for example, even I dare to say that Maipucinos, in some cases are rude and disrespectful, which makes me feel a bit shame.
Anyway, I like my commune, I made my life here and saw it grew. 10 years ago we didn't have motorways, now, by the end of this year, is going to be inagurated the subway system. So you could imagine the development of the commune in 10 years.
I'm proud to live in Maipú.
Describing a place
ResponderEliminarI`m going to talk about my borough called Quilicura where I have lived since I was a child.
Quilicura is a big place and it has a huge population. There are many places to visit, like parks, shopping center, pubs, restaurants and so on.
In Quilicura I have all my friends, they live near to my house. Sometimes we meet in a park that is located in the center of borough to talk or something else.
Quilicura has a shopping center called “vespucio Norte”.In this place you can find a cinema in which you can go with your family or friends and have a good time!.
Another place that you can go in the shopping center are the pubs. Those places are very interesting in which you can dance with your friends and drink a lot.
Furthermore the shopping center has many places in which you can buy different things like clothes, shoes and so on. Also there is a supermarket too, all things that you need you can find there.
Quilicura is a beautiful place and I recommend to live and visit.
One of the most amazing places in Europe is Paris, which is the capital of France. Paris is one of the biggest European metropolis and one of the first touristic destinies of the world This city is unique because of its spectacular historic and artistic patrimony.
ResponderEliminarToday in Paris, you can find a mixture between the current and ancient culture. For instance, The Eiffel tower, which is very high, is the most important symbol for the people who live there; it has a breath-taking view, where daily is visited by millions of people of all over the world. In addition, you must visit the Louvre, that is and ancient building originally built as a fortress, nowadays, the Louvre is a museum of art, where you can see the famous portrait “Mona Lisa” and other great art-work.
Fashion is other adjectives for Paris, the people who live there is always worry about their look; if you walk down the streets you’ll see colorful outfits in every person. Moreover, there are millions of good restaurants, which meals will make you mouth become water.
Also, Paris is the city of love, Parisians are very romantic, and they can sing to their lover a very nice ballad or give bunch of flowers, which smell is an ecstasy for your nose. Parisians are friendly and polite people, you will never get a bad impression of them.
In the future, I would like to visit Paris, I think is one of most fascinating cities in the world, I have many fantasies and dreams that I want to fulfill in this fabulous city.
